I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Education, and also obtained my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Bloomsburg. I have been at Mount Carmel since 2005. In addition to teaching computer classes, I am also the adviser for Pep Club and Future Business Leaders of America. During the fall and spring semesters, I teach corporate and continuing education classes at Bloomsburg University.

9th GRADE ONLY
This course is designed to introduce you to practical uses of computer software. We will spend the majority of the school year working with MS Word and Excel. You will also be introduced to other applications such as Photoshop and iMovie.
In Desktop Publishing you will prepare professional documents. You will work individually and in team situations to create documents that may include: posters, business cards, packaging and book covers.
You will be introduced to basic web design principles. We will be experimenting with HTML, Dreamweaver and programming. Students will create web sites for personal use as well as potential clients.
